Don't know how to use your personal mineral map yet? Here's a quick overview for you:

 

 

To view your personalized Mineral Map click the Mining tab in the top navigation menu, then select Mineral Map from the left column. From here you will be able to select which map you wish to view as well as the mineral type. This map will show you all of your mining finds based on the entry methods outlined below. If you would like to adjust the privacy settings of your Mineral Map click Settings from the top navigation menu, then select Account Settings from the left column. Here you will be able to set your map to private, share with all friends or just your society. If your map is private, you will not be able to see your friends and society members maps.

 

How it works...

 

Automated Entry With Globals:

The Entropia Tracker Client is able to automatically grab the mineral type and location when you receive a global due to all the information being shown in the chat.log file from Entropia. If the claim is less than 50 peds, therefore not being a global you can manually add it to your map.

 

 

Manual Entry With all Claims:

Under "Setup" then "Keyboard" inside the client ensure you have the boxes checked to auto collect your location and timestamp keys. Then go to the "Mining Info" tab, press the "Download Minerals" button, this will populate the drop down list with all the currently known mineral types. Once you find a claim, hit your position key in game to show coordinates, the client will now show those coordinates on the "Mining Info" tab. Select the type of mineral you have found from the dropdown list then press the "Send Mineral" button. That claim will not be permanantly on your mineral map on EntropiaLife.com
