Hyperplex on Rocktropia

Due north of the City of Dreams area on Rocktropia is one of the most interesting places in EU, the Hyperplex precinct or complex. A vast, rectangular, concrete and tarmac plateau forged into the surrounding landscape that also partially reaches out across a large lagoon.

A wide, very long road located south-central, serves as the main entry and exit that eventually connects to Tangerine as well as linking to smaller roads that take you to other locations in Rocktropia's south-eastern sector or region. To truly appreciate this hubbub you have to get aerial - and almost immediately you will notice the large ring-road and surrealistic pseudo Gothic & Victorian style architecture, mixed with ultra-modern glass and concrete tower blocks. You will also see the large 'UNIVERSAL' globe, huge video screens and the neon-glowing Hyperplex centre itself that you can or will enter at some stage in conjunction with one of the quests or missions; I forget which...

Then just slightly further to the north is the unmissable, blue and purple lit CLUB NEVERDIE skyscraper with landing pads sprouting high up from the east and west walls.

You will find plenty of low-level mobs in this concrete rectangle , such as Rocktropians and P*ssed Off Cops, so a very good, fairly easy hunting ground for participants of most abilities.

There are numerous teleporter locations where the teleporters look like public telephone kiosks, such as at the hyperplex building and one slightly south-west of the neverdie tower - and another in the corner of a small cobblestoned square near to a flight of steps that takes you down to the RRC Subway Race Circuit.

This curious subterranean location will instantly remind you of a cross between a London underground and New York subway platform, except minus any railway lines! Instead the platform takes you onto what is effectively a very narrow looped-track, just wide enough for two Valkyries or Hoverpods to race side by side, or four or five players on hoverboards.

Just for bit of fun and to wind-down the day, I then did a fair number of laps around this looped-track in the hoverpod just to see how it would handle. I had done this before some time ago in a Valkyrie, but not in one of these which are slightly less stable in tight corners as there isn't any actual contact with the surface when powered-up for obvious reasons, so I did experience a few 'loop-the-loops' a few times as the hoverpod tended to try and go up the walls when I didn't slow down quickly enough...
