In the 'Olden Days' there was just one planet. Things were different then, some better and some worse, but no one can argue that the Universe has changed.



It was a harsh and unforgiving environment that you landed on, no memory, no money, and no clue where to go or what to do.

You were forced to work together to survive. Without help you could be stranded at a remote outpost literally for days unable to get past the vicious monsters pinning you down. But people worked together, they learned how to kill the monsters, they learned how to use their tools and weapons to maximum efficiency.



While this was a time of great hardship, it was also a time where the community had a strong bond. They had that bond because without it they could not survive.

People researched types of damage each monster did and what armor could best protect against them. They found out the best weapons for each level of play and how to cause the most damage for the least cost, thus maximizing players profits, or minimizing their losses.

They tracked what items you could get from one mob or another, they researched where to find the ores needed by different manufacturers.


Once people learned how to do things though, they lost that need for each other. People became more isolated in their playing, more jealous of others, more secretive with their own secrets.

As time went on the planet of Calypso became more settled and more safe thanks to those early pioneers. But as the planet became more civilized the thing that made it great began to crumble. Its community and their ability to work together sharing knowledge and advancing their human race in this Alien corner of the Universe.



They advanced so greatly that they began to expand out into nearby planets and thus began their struggle once again.

New monsters never seen before, unstudied by any scientist, New ore fields never before charted, New blueprints to create new items, Alien civilizations with customs unknown to us, new problems to solve.


As things were found and discovered on these new planets, changes also began to take place on Calypso, the first planet we had colonized.

This resulted in chaos not only for the colonists braving these new worlds, but also for those who had chosen to stay in the safety of their recently tamed planet.

There is great need for information on these new Planets as well as what is changing on Calypso.

Wait... the title says 'for PED'... I want to get paid.

Well EntropiaPlanets.com is not able to pay for articles, but there are other sites that can.
Being part of a community is not just about collecting all information for ourselves, it is also about sharing it with the world.


There are sites such as onrpg.com who have paid individual writers for articles when needed. What greater way to get paid than by writing an article for a gaming site about the Universe you love?

Do a little research, find gaming sites who may be missing a writer able to cover Entropia and do a little 'freelance' writing.
(onrpg.com is only used as an example, we do not know if they are currently paying for articles, this is why you need to do your own research and find your own opportunities)

The fastest and easiest way to get PED for writing though is currently QuestBomb.com.


QuestBomb.com is a new Review/Blog site being launched by NEVERDIE to help promote his planet ROCKtropia and to give players a way to earn PEDs besides 'sweating.'

With several well written reviews already, the site also features details on all the known Missions and Rewards on ROCKtropia which you can also help with by filling in any missing information on our wiki.
