After a debate, the constructor Remrick Era'Nolann felt that a fast, realiable hunting rifle was something the hunting public wanted.
After a meeting with Fire Forge, Era'Nolann made a deal to produce a test run of a couple of hundred weapons, to be used on Calypso.
The design, a light fast firing hunting rifle, did attract a few customers, but Fire Forge were not pleased, and therefore stopped production after the test run was completed.
This also made sure that production quality was never improved and unfortunately several weapons in the series are flawed in certain ways.
Era'Nolann himself was very distraught by this, but began his search for a new weapon to modify.
